Glory to God! We now start our pursuit of God as far as Romans 6- 8 is concerned. Paul has already shown that the hope of the assurance of the glory of God and salvation in eternity, is something to rejoice about in chapter five verses 1-11. That set us up to see that God has made repentant, believing sinners one with Christ through His death and resurrection. This led to justification by faith alone. All that we were in Adam, together with all the consequences are now annulled. We are now in Christ, and all that He has done is counted to us and we get those Holy Spirit concequences by grace through faith !!! How have you seen salvation? Does it include the truths above, or did it revolve around only going to heaven one day? Login to Reply |
